Adoption Law

Adoption law in Tennessee regulates the ability of a person or married couple to adopt a child or even an adult. Adoption law includes the laws related to the termination of parental rights. Unless a biological parent is deceased the parental rights of that parent must be terminated by the Court before adoption.
