Are You Looking for a Lawyer, or Just Researching Legal Issues?

Most People Rely Upon a Referral to Select an Attorney

In the day of internet technology, and the ever growing number of law related websites, attorney search directories, lawyer blog sites (like this one), not to mention Facebook, and Twitter, the question arises: Who is actually looking for an attorney and who is just researching legal issue for personal knowledge?  A recent article posted by the ABA Journal indicates that even today people are less likely to find a lawyer online, but would be more likely to seek a referral from a family member or friend.  According to the report, less than 10% of those surveyed would use the yellow pages to look for an attorney.

The report from the research committee notes, however, that the survey of more than 1,000 adults was conducted via landline telephones and the results might be different if it had been conducted among cell phone users.

For all of your legal needs rely on the attorneys of Purple Law Firm, located in Chattanooga Tennessee.
